Work with agents on a private canvas

العربية

Version note: this guide describes the workflow released in 0.5.0, including the new views, draft conversion, workflow templates and signed commands. These additions are not included in 0.4.0.

From a brief to a reviewed draft

  • Create your own canvas and add a prompt, selected content references and an agent or provider card. Connect only the context needed for the task.
  • Configure a named external agent or a managed text model. A configured key is not proof that an external agent is online; its MCP client must stay connected and poll for work.
  • Review the actual destination, saved instructions and selected context before running. Scopes are bounded by the owner’s current permissions and explicit canvas grants.
  • The result is a new private note, not a published article. Where supported, Create content draft turns an attributed text result into a separate draft for your review; it does not replace or publish existing content.

Keep the workspace readable

Workflow shows connections, Grid supports comparison, and List supports reading. Arrange cards saves an explicit layout. Switching view does not change content or permissions. Canvases belong to their owner; a drawn line is not a sharing grant.

Receive a signed command

Incoming events on a card starts disabled. Save an exact command, review the saved action, and explicitly enable it. Senders must implement the documented HMAC protocol and exact command-only JSON; an ordinary webhook payload or endpoint URL is insufficient. Secrets appear once and belong in the sender’s secret store. Accepted means queued or waiting for an external agent, not completed. Disabling or changing authority can invalidate work and require new review. This path cannot run shell commands or publish content.
